Coffman Soccer made the trip down to Lexington, Kentucky and came away with an impressive 3-1 victory in their first match of the weekend. The Rocks won convincingly against Paul Laurence Dunbar, the number 1 ranked team in Kentucky and number 11 ranked team in the nation. Coffman came out firing and scored early goal off the foot of Emeka Eneli and a Luke Kiley assist. Nick turner added a long distance strike to make it 2-0 at the half. Both teams added a penalty kick in the second half. Dunbar’s GK made several key saves to deny the Rocks multiple goals in the 2nd half. The Rocks play again on Sunday against Henry Clay.
